The Official British Heart Foundation Lose - 3 days - Diet!

You must drink 5 x 8oz glasses of water per day, and no other drink.

Day 1:

BREAKFAST:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
1/2 grapefruit
1 slice toast
2 tspn peanut butter

LUNCH:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
Black tea/ coffee
4oz tuna
1 slice toast

DINNER:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
2 slices any cold meat
1 - cup broccoli
4oz carrot
1 small apple
4oz vanilla ice - cream


Day 2:

BREAKFAST:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
1 egg
1 slice toast
1/2 banana


LUNCH:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
4oz Tuna
5 slatine crackers


DINNER:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
2 hot dog sausages
3oz broccoli
2oz carrots
1/2 banana
4oz vanilla ice - crea,


Day 3:

BREAKFAST:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
5 saltine crackers
1 slice cheddar cheese
1 small apple


LUNCH:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
1 hard - bolied egg
1 slice toast


DINNER:

Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
4oz tuna
4oz carrot
4oz cauliflower
1/2 melon
4oz vanilla ice - cream


Condiments Allowed

Lemon (and lots of it, if you like)
a dash of salt and/or pepper
mustard
cooking spray


Substitutions

Some people use the following substitutions for the 3 day diet:

Orange instead of Grapefruit
Tuna instead of Cottage cheese (and vice versa)
Frozen yogurt instead of Ice Cream
Cauliflower instead of Broccoli (and vice versa)
Green beans instead of Broccoli or Cauliflower
Beets instead of Carrots
Toast instead of 5 crackers (vice versa)
